International Summer School in Game Development

Turku University of Applied Sciences and Applied Sciences and University of Turku organize together an International Summer School in Game Development from 10th to 28th August.

This 3-week summer programme provides opportunities to develop both theoretical and hands-on knowledge in game design, programming, arts, audio and testing. The Summer School is aimed undergraduated students with basic skills in programming or graphic design. However, the most important requirement is an enthusiasm to learn.

The Hague Summer School

The Hague Summer School in the Netherlands will take place from July 6 till 31, 2015. Students can choose to come for a two-week (4 ECTS points) or a four-week period (8 ECTS points).

The course will teach about how to work with the strengths of public and private sectors to make a better world. The programme contains interesting modules, social activities, company visits and guest speakers. Students will be challenged to work hard, practice self-reflection and personal coaching.

UPV students will receive a discount of €100 for two weeks (€ 1.399,- instead of € 1.499,- for the full package) and € 200 for four weeks (€ 2.799,- instead of € 2.999,- for the full package).The price includes tuition fee, housing, and in-programme activities & lunch.

Lake Constance Summer School 2015

The University of Konstanz offers the Lake Constance Summer School 2015 from 1 -30 August. Intensive German  language courses on all levels are as much part of the summer school as a weekend excursion programme and presentations and lectures on history, art, culture, and politics of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Summer School | VISUM 2015 – VISion Understanding and Machine Intelligence

Information about VISUM 2015 – VISion Understanding and Machine Intelligence Summer School, organized by our Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with INESC TEC and INEB, which will take place in Porto, Portugal, between July 2nd and 9th 2015 (application deadline March 1st).

 

VISUM Summer School targets to gather MSc. and Ph.D. candidates, Post-Doctoral scholars and researchers, academic and industrial professionals with (research) interests in computer vision and machine intelligence and everyone who wants to have knowledge of topics avant-garde.

Radboud Summer School

Midnight Sun Summer School in Lahti, Finland

The topic of our international multidisciplinary summer school is “Co-Designing Better Urban Living.” The study program is aimed for students interested in environmental issues with either technical, business, design or social and health care background. Over the exciting and challenging two weeks, students work in international multidisciplinary teams with local partner organisations, and lectures and workshops by experts in different fields give their insight to this very contemporary topic.

Participants will also explore the exotic Finnish culture and nature, and experience the 24-hour daylight with midnight sun!

Summer University – Technical University of Denmark

The offer includes an intensive summer course on Danish language and culture, which takes place in August before the autumn semester. This course is open to all exchange students, but a maximum of 60 students can attend.
