4th Linköping University Summer Academy that will take place between 28th June-27th July 2019.

The programme will give students an opportunity to study in Linköping, Sweden, for four weeks, choose from a number of high-quality courses and gain cultural insights together with other students from our international partner universities all around the globe.

All courses are at bachelor’s level, credit bearing (7.5 ECTS), will be taught in English and are full-time. For students from LiU’s partner universities the LiU Summer Academy is tuition free.

The LiU Summer Academy provides a possibility for short term exchange within the framework of our existing exchange agreement. Students who have completed 1 year full-time studies (successfully passed 60 ECTS credits or equivalent upon application) and have a good command of English as stated in our agreement are eligible to all courses. We apply a quota of Summer Academy places and semester places on the basis of 4:1.

We are striving for a good mix of students and partner universities are welcome to nominate a maximum of 5 students per course.

On 1st February, 2019 we will open up for students to apply on our website. Please observe that we have a limited number of student places per course and that we cannot guarantee that all the nominated students can be offered a place. The admission application deadline is 18th March, 2019 (midnight CET). To apply the student needs a transcript showing 60 ECTS or equivalent passed, as well as a nomination certificate, signed and stamped by their international coordinator.

Students from partner universities with whom we would like to improve the balance for incoming and outgoing student exchange are prioritized.

Along with lectures and course work, we will also organize an interesting and fun social programme in cooperation with our student hosts.

Housing will be provided, a fully furnished single room with access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. We have a package including rent, bed linen, Internet Access (not WiFi), a bus pass for Linköping and the surroundings, a pass for the Campushallen sports facilities and a final room cleaning for 5500 SEK.

We offer the following courses:
